What is Pelvic floor therapy?
Pelvic Floor therapy focuses on the pelvic floor muscles that create a bowl shape in your pelvis. These muscles help support your organs, core, and back. They also run very close to your bowels, bladder, and sexual organs. Unfortunately, it is common to have problems with these muscles that can interfere with your daily life! Therapy can help you reach your goals and get you back to what is important.

FOUR AREA’S OF EMPHASIS FOR WOMEN’s CARE:
ELEVATE BEYOND CONDITIONING: This service is geared towards young females who may participate in high impact sports and activities or who may have been diagnosed or are experiencing symptoms consistent with various health problems involving the pelvic floor. We have specially trained athletic trainers who have taken courses that focus on the athlete and the pelvic floor and well as a physical therapist who has been training in pelvic floor dysfunction. With the all-inclusive therapy, we are able to get the athlete back into their sport with a strong pelvic floor and core which enables them to perform to the best of their abilities.
RADIATE BEYOND BABY: This service is oriented towards young females who are prenatal or post-partum and in the age ranges of 20 to 40 with special emphasis on core and pelvic floor training as well as special spine care that can utilizing special techniques including MedX (a tool used for spinal strengthening), Swim-Ex (used for low impact exercise), and Repex/McKenzie for structural shifts in low back that can occur during pregnancy. Pregnancy is a special time that affects everyone differently. Some women have lasting effects that include back pain, pelvic pain, or incontinence. Patients will also receive care for incontinence and pelvic pain when necessary.
IINSPIRED BEYOND LIMITS: This service is oriented towards 40 to 65+ year old females experiencing pelvic floor associated dysfunctions with special emphasis on general conditioning, core strengthening, nutrition guidance, spine strengthening including MedX, Repex, Swim-Ex, continence training, and pelvic floor training.
